Tennessee Child Care Resource & Referral (TN CCR&R) exemplifies putting best practices first through statewide initiatives that support educators and by sharing proven literacy practices. Therefore, the Tennessee Reading Research Center is pleased to announce TN CCR&R as the 2025 recipient of the Friend of TRRC Award[1]. This award was created to recognize an organization that has shown exemplary partnership with the TRRC on literacy issues, and we were challenged to choose one nominee among several with whom we have had the honor of collaborating. The TN CCR&R was selected through a process that included a review of criteria established for the award.
In working to fulfill their mission, TN CCR&R provides training and resources to childcare professionals, parents, and community organizations. Currently, they have sites serving all 95 counties in the state that are staffed by highly trained professionals dedicated to ensuring the best care possible for Tennessee’s children.
This year’s Friend of TRRC Award was presented to the TN CCR&R team, on November 5th at their offices in Chattanooga.
We were thrilled to honor them with the 2025 award.
