Biography

Mr. Cowan is a research data engineer at the Tennessee Reading Research Center (TRRC). His work focuses on the refinement of complex data across multiple sources. At the TRRC, Mr. Cowan provides data stewardship, aiding research by ensuring the integrity of valid, reproducible data for analysis. Prior to joining TRRC, he worked as a Data Science Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), providing analytical support to the Division of Foodborne, Waterborne, and Environmental Diseases (DFWED).
