Biography
Denise Lane serves as a project manager for the EMPOWER Project at the Tennessee Reading Research Center (TRRC). Prior to joining the TRRC, she spent 25 years in elementary education as both a teacher and administrator. Denise has a passion for education and the belief that every student should have the opportunity to grow and succeed. She is especially driven to improve literacy proficiency with a focus on using data to inform instructional practices.
