Biography
Dr. Zhang is a research assistant professor at the Tennessee Reading Research Center (TRRC). His research centers on the development and application of experimental and quasi-experimental methods to address substantive questions in education research, evaluation, and policy, such as the development and extension of propensity score analysis and applying cutting-edge quantitative approaches to evaluate the causal effects of several educational interventions. At the TRRC, Dr. Zhang is responsible for applying a variety of methodological and modern statistical approaches to answering questions about literacy development, instruction, and assessment.
